MEET THE BOARD

Strong women guiding the vision, growth, and impact of EmpowerHer Society of Cleveland.

Lisa Thomas

As the secretary of Empower Her, I am honored to serve in a role that allows me to support organization, communication, and accountability within our board. I am passionate about ensuring that every voice is heard and that our work is documented clearly so we can continue to grow and make an impact. My motivation comes from a desire to help create opportunities and resources that empower women in meaningful and lasting ways. Being part of this board allows me to contribute my skills while also learning and growing alongside a group of dedicated individuals. I am committed to helping Empower Her succeed and thrive through strong organization and collaboration.

Secretary

Linda Oliveras

As Treasurer of EmpowerHer, I am proud to be part of an organization dedicated to empowering women and teens to recognize their strength and worth. Our mission is to equip them to succeed, knowing that empowerment begins when one woman reaches out to another—creating a ripple effect that uplifts generations.

Through connection, shared resources, and support, we as women can make a powerful impact. We lead, mentor, and uplift one another while embracing our many roles—leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers, daughters, and more.

Together, we turn challenges into opportunities and build a stronger, more inclusive future. EmpowerHer stands as a reflection of what’s possible when women unite with purpose, resilience, and collaboration.

Let us continue to inspire the next generation, reminding every woman and teen that they have the power to achieve greatness.

Treasurer

Coryonna Robinson

As the Social Media Manager I will ensure that the brand is consistently represented across all platforms. I am passionate about creating engaging content, building community online, and connecting with audiences in a meaningful way. Through my work, I help amplify the mission and visibility of EmpowerHer because I know what it feels like to be in the middle of becoming and still needing support, not perfection. My work in education and mental health keeps me rooted, and my faith keeps me accountable to serve with intention, not just visibility. I try to keep what I share honest, a little light when it needs to be, and real enough that someone else feels less alone. This work is personal to me, and I move in it trusting God to lead, correct, and sustain it.

As the Director of Performing Arts, I’m bringing creativity, expression, and cultural enrichment to EmpowerHer Society of Cleveland. I am passionate about using the arts as a tool for confidence-building and personal growth among women and teen girls. I play a key role in shaping experiences that inspire, uplift, and empower through performance and storytelling. My vision adds a dynamic and powerful element to the organization’s mission. I ‘m truly honored to be a part of this endeavor because I get to uplift women and help them reach for and achieve their goals. I have the opportunity to be a big sister, a friend, and a mentor—sharing my experiences to help guide young women down the right path. I am passionate about helping women feel good about themselves and confident in who they are. I am most excited about all the amazing women I’m going to meet and the profound impact they will have on me.
